Holy Witch
A holy witch derives her powers from consorting with holy powers, such as kami, angels and other good outsiders. They are specialists of using ofuda to perform exorcism and defeat evil spirits.
Class: Witch
Level: 1st
Replaces: Spellcasting, Familiar
Benefit: A holy witch gain the following class features:
Patron: A holy witch cannot select a patron that grant a spell with the evil descriptor (such as the Nightmares and Plague patrons).
Spellcasting: A holy witch does not prepare her spells, instead she spontaneously cast spells like a Sorcerer. She automatically adds her patron spells to her spell known at the listed level under her patron. A holy witch regains her spells by communing in meditation with her patron quietly for 15 minutes after resting.
A holy witch add the following spells on the witch spell list at the listed level: purify food and drink (0th), bless water (1st), detect evil (1st), protection from evil (1st), sanctuary (1st), consecrate (2nd), purge spirit (2nd), magic circle against evil (3rd), [[[Sealing Force (3.5e Spell)|Sealing Force]] (3rd), dismissal (4th), thaumaturgic circle (4th), hallow (5th), banishment (6th). If the spell is already on the witch list, use whichever level is lower. Due to her obligations to her patron, a holy witch cannot cast [evil] spells, much like if she was a good-aligned cleric.
Ofuda (Su): This ability functions as the Kami Medium's Ofuda ability except that it affect the witch's spellcasting rather than medium spellcasting. This ability alters spellcasting and replaces familiar.
