Hovering[edit]

An interesting variant of the dancing enhancement, a hovering weapon hovers in your space. While a hovering weapon floats beside you, you count as wielding that weapon even if you do not have the necessary hands required to do so. You may activate any abilities of the hovering weapon as if you were wielding it and may attack with it normally. Since you do not need to hold the weapon, its weight isn't counted towards your carrying capacity. You may reload a ranged hovering weapon even if you do not have the necessary hands to reload it, though you must still use your own actions to do so.

You may only use you attacks granted by base attack bonus to attack with an hovering weapon; unless it's a double weapon, at which point you may use Two-Weapon Fighting with it. If you have multiple hovering weapons you may assign each any number of attacks (up to the maximum number of attacks granted by your BAB) and do not take penalties for attacking with multiple weapons.

Strong Transmutation; CL 11; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, animate objects; Price: +2.
