This construct (sometimes in disguise as a dog) can enjoy the wonders of food, like slurpees, pizza and plastic robot action figures.
Constructs usually cannot eat. Now they can.
Benefit: You can now eat food if you could not before. If you lacked a mouth, you now have one. Despite lacking a tongue or saliva, you can eat and taste food normally. Unlike a human, you can eat metal, stone, plastic* and other materials**. The food is completely absorbed by you, so bathroom breaks are unnecessary.
Drawback: You get hungry at the same rate a human would. However, you do not starve, and you get no penalties for not eating, other than being very upset.
Normal Constructs are unable to consume anything, and Living Constructs can consume things, but they don't taste like anything.
Special: To take this trait, you must be a Construct or Living Construct. You cannot gain any benefits from eating or drinking if you are only a construct (such as Heroes' Feast or any potions). If your DM only allows you to take a certain number of Traits, this trait does not count towards that limit.
* If plastic exists in your setting.
** Ask your DM for details on what is edible. Hungry Hungry Construct Co. is not responsible for death and/or injury to constructs who consume any harmful materials.
