1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
A common firearm used by even rural commoners who spend some amount of training, this rifle is typically used for hunting game animals at long range. It has a stock of 10 bullets before needing to be reloaded as a full round action.
You can steady yourself and aim as a standard action or a move action if you are prone. If you do so, you gain a +4 bonus to your next attack with the rifle made within 1 round and deal maximum weapon damage (but not extra damage such as from sneak attack).
The weapon has a large stock for support. In a pinch, it can be used as a two-handed club in melee. The stock can be enhanced as a club as well. It doesn't have a throwing range.
