Ice Crystal Phalanx

You breathe out a cold gas which spreads out at your feet, generating icy spikes from the ground.
Each creature in a 30 ft line must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d4 points of cold damage, or half damage on a successful save. In addition it leaves icy spikes behind which deal 1d6 points of piercing damage and count as difficult terrain which deals damage for every 5 ft a creature moves through the area. The ice spikes melt in 5 rounds, or if they take 10 or more points of fire damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 cold damage, and +2 additional piercing damage for each slot level above 1st.
