Your resistance matters not. Our Lord will make as many of us as are needed.

There are some who follow and venerate the logos as perfect divine beings. Those who surrender themselves up to the gods may find their faith being rewarded with a gift; for most must wait until after they die to become a child of god. For the idrisellum (also known as the Ascended Man or Seedbed of the Divine) their transformation comes early and in life. Unlike most logos, these logos are made out of mortal men who have 'ascended', modified through celestial cybernetics and fleshcrafting, and transformed into a pure and incorruptible form of themselves. It then becomes a question if these things are still yet human. Their fears and anger are stripped away, leaving naught but purified goodness. Yet these shells may also be seen as merely machines in the place of who they once where.

As such an idrisellum appears as it did in life and, with proper disguise, can pass for one of their old selves. However their bodies seem perfect and flawless, their bodies jointed as if dolls, their eyes haunting and empty, and often they wear celestial garbs and strange golden masks which obscure the face yet seem not to hinder their sight. They can even project runes and halos of light upon and around their body as a free action, but this is naught but for show. Even within their bodies seem to be mixed with strange and alien cybernetics powered by faith and clad in gold, silver, and ivory.

Idrisellum speak Common and Celestial, as well as any racial languages they held in their former life and with heights and weights comparable to their previous existence.

Combat[edit]

Idrisellum are usually under the command of a higher ranked logos. They follow the command and tactics given to them without question or concern of self-preservation, so loyal are they to the cause. If alone, they revert to more human behavior but are as clever and cunning as any human warrior.

It is said that part of the reason that they are so fearless, beyond merely zealous passion, is that the idrisellum are actually mass produced as if in factories. Once the information of the ascended is recorded, they may be birthed and rebirthed within the logos creation chambers as many times as needed or until the creature is ascended further through transfiguration.

Bio-Android (Ex): Idrisellum are more organic than most logos creatures. They retain full benefit from cure spells as well as repair spells.

Celestial Blessings (Su): Idrisellum pick up some outsider traits as part of their conversion. They have all good saving throws, good BAB, and 8+Int skill points for their racial HD. They are proficient in all forms of armor, all shields (including tower shields), and simple and martial weapons. In addition they gain darkvision 60 ft and may count as a celestial being as well as a member of their original race (assumed to be human in the example).

Celestial Weaponry (Su): An idrisellum can summon a celestial weapon to their hand in the same act as drawing a weapon. Said weapon counts as silver for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction, always bypasses the damage reduction of fiends (except for DR/-), and often is bright, silvery, or even radiant. They are otherwise masterwork weapons of their type. The idrisellum can summon any weapon they are proficient with, and the weapon vanishes 1 round after they drop it. The act of summoning is supernatural, but the item persists even if magic is suppressed.

Immunities (Ex): Idrisellum are immune to fear, disease, mind-affecting effects, and poison.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): At will- light; 3/day- cure light wounds, sanctuary (DC 14); 1/day-bless, command (DC 14), hypnotism (DC 14). The saving throws are Charisma based.

Smite Chaos or Evil (Su): An idrisellum can smite chaos or smite evil as a paladin of their level 1/day.

Transfiguration: Idrisellum are sometimes referred to as seedbeds for greater ascensions. A higher ranking logos within 100 ft can invest power into an idrisellum as a free action and transform them into any other logos or celestial being up to the higher ranking logos's CR -2. This is not done lightly, as it is taxing on the logos investing. They are treated as obtaining a number of negative levels equal to the ascended creature's CR which they heal at a rate of 1 per day, and cannot be healed through magic. In addition, they're rather big into only ascending those who are worthy. With that in mind logos sometimes invest power ahead of time into an idrisellum. When the idrisellum perishes, they automatically revive as the new celestial being at the beginning of their turn. This is a new encounter, and its CR may be much higher than before.
