|lvl1=When readying an action to [[SRD:Casting Spells#Counterspells|counterspell]], you do not have to choose a target.  You may choose to react to any spell cast in your line of sight after you identify it with Spellcraft. 
|lvl3=When counterspelling, you may use a spell of the same school that is one or more spell levels higher than the target spell.
|lvl5=You get a +3 bonus to dispel checks with [[SRD:Dispel Magic|''dispel magic'']] and [[SRD:Greater Dispel Magic|''greater dispel magic'']].
|lvl7=Whenever you successfully counter a spell, you absorb some of the dispelled magical energy.  During your next round, you may cast a spell of the same school and spell level as the countered spell without expending a spell slot.  This spell is cast at +2 CL.
|lvl9=You may cast ''dispel magic'' and ''greater dispel magic'' as an immediate action (counterspell version only).
