Injuring[edit]

Imbued with a killing intent, an injuring weapon can release a burst of damage all at once. For each effective point of enhancement from the base weapon (but not temporary effects such as greater magic weapon) you have a stock of 10 points of damage each day which you can release on a successful attack as an immediate action (to a maximum of 50 points in a single attack). For example a base +1 injuring weapon is an effective +2 weapon and has 20 points a day which you can release in one large blow or multiple smaller blows, up to 20 damage. The extra damage is the same damage type as the base damage, and is not multiplied on a critical hit. This cannot be used on ammunition, but functions on projectile weapons.

Faint necromancy; CL 5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, inflict light wounds; Price: +1.
