The larger cousin of the Messer, this large war-sword is forged from the need to pack a lot of knife in two capable hands. Though the peasantry will tell you this is but a knife, the only thing this will be chopping is someone who keeps asking if it's a sword or not.
Due to the elaborate hilts made for properly forged Kriegsmessers, a masterwork Kriegsmesser grants a +1 parry bonus to AC to whoever wields it. This bonus increases once for every two levels of enhancement applied to the weapon.
