You release a small bolt of lightning as a ranged touch attack, dealing 1d6 points of electrical damage and charging the target with static.  As a free action at the start of your turn, the affected creature discharges another bolt at another creature within 20 ft of your choice, dealing damage and charging them with static instead.  As long as it is able to bounce between two or more creatures it will continue to strike until it misses, its duration runs out, or it has no one to jump to (which ends the spell).  You choose what target to strike next, but it cannot be the creature you emit from.  This can take the spell's effect beyond its original range.
