With a single touch the rogue was rendered stone cold dead, or so it seemed.
Any living creature touched by this spell must succeed on a Fortitude save or be permanently paralyzed. Remove paralysis or any spell that can remove a curse can free the victim. Creatures which successfully save (or creatures which are immune) are instead staggered for 1 round.
Anyone paralyzed by this spell seems dead, though a DC 20 Spot check or a DC 15 Heal check reveals that the victim is still alive.
