The real reason things aren't going our way isn't because of our own faults or the nature of the world, it's those damned lizard people in my head, controling my brain!

They are everywhere in secret. They look like you or me, but there are a secret group of shapeshifting lizard people who are secretly controlling the world from the shadows. They are secretly responsible for every major event and problem in the world. The Spellplauge? The lizbots did it. Ao condemned all the gods? Thanks to the lizbots. Your coffee pot burned? The lizbots win again. They are the most insidious creatures in existence, and only you (yes, you!) know the truth. Wake up sheeple! The lizbots are here!

They are humanoid figures covered in lizard scales, reptilian eyes, and the power to hide themselves in human skins. They are secretly all automatons of the Greater Secret Overmind Cabal, who give their orders to the lizbots via secret magical transmissions in the air and secret hand signals like waving and smiling. They even have a secret code called "science" which they communicate their occult ideals in the hidden screen of "logic" and "reason" and "common sense". They are especially populated in academia where they will attempt to educate you on the false world and hide the truth.

In spite of appearances and what "science" would tell you, lizbots are lizards and therefore are sexless. It's unknown how they reproduce, but ever since my friend went to "school" they came back a lizbot too so they are probably replacing people. Their ultimate goal: Defeat the real wizards on the coasts (who are all secretly really dragons) and taking over the world with the One World Government and convincing everyone we landed on another plane of existence. Listen people: the Outer Planes aren't real! It was a sound stage! Demons and angels are just part of the conspiracy!

Combat

The worst thing about lizbots is that they rarely fight, always being in positions of power and safety. Even then they can control the minds of others to get others to fight for them. Push come to shove, many have the power to censor and to use their "Banded Hammers" to get their way.

Aura of Paranoia (Su): As a free action a lizbot toggle their aura which causes creatures within 10 ft to become paranoid, with the subtle sense that something is wrong or someone is out to get them. Creatures must make a Will save DC 17 or become paranoid. You are constantly treated as flanked as long as you remain in the area. A successful saving throw renders you immune for 1 minute. The saving throw is Charisma based.

Censor (Su): A lizbot can study an object for 3 rounds and at the end of 3 rounds cause the object to be censored. Anyone who would observe this object would get a Will save DC 17, or be unable to see, hear, or otherwise recognize the object for what it is, going as far as to creating reasonable alternatives for what they are witnessing. Only through direct interaction with the object are they permitted another saving throw. This is how the lizbots hide all their secrets.

While usually limited in scope to Colossal objects and smaller, multiple lizbots can come together in secret 8 hour rituals to combine their collective censor abilities to target larger objects. This is how they all convinced everyone the "moon" is a gray sphere in the sky and not a projection to hide the alien spaceship hiding right above us.

Disguise (Ex): A lizbot has the ability to use alter self at will as an extraordinary ability, but it takes 1 minute to apply a new disguise. They can lose their current disguise as a free action.

Obey (Sp): Over the course of 1 minute a lizbot can try to convince any targets they are speaking to of some fact, such as "the world is round" or "no one is out to get you". These are lies of course, and require a successful Bluff check. However on success this information becomes embedded in the victim and no further skill checks or "truths" will sway them, not until this mind-affecting language dependent effect is defeated by nothing short of break enchantment followed by a successful Diplomacy check or other proof.

More insidious, they can weaponize this spell-like ability into a magical trap not unlike a Symbol spell. At the cost of 500 gp for an "advertisement" or similar ability they can hide secret messages within it. After 1 month of exposure, any creatures who have seen this advertisement fall under the compulsion listed by Obey.

Partial Mind: Lizbots are technically intelligent, using their Wisdom as their effective intelligent score. However they lack a true intelligence and seem to lack free will. They are not in fact immune to mind-affecting effects, but are hard coded never to reveal the secrets of the New World Order or their secret insidious plans no matter the compulsion. Due to this pseudo-intelligence they do not have Bot programs and but can be "reprogrammed" with new instructions to follow. They are considered to be a complex machine.

Programmed Skills: While technically mindless, a lizbot always has maximum ranks in Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, Forgery, and Intimidate.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): At will- message; 3/day- charm person (DC 15), hypnotism (DC 15); 1/day- alter memory (DC 18), suggestion (DC 17), insidious suggestion (DC 18).

Regeneration (Ex): The regeneration of a lizbot is bypassed by acid and fire.
