A magical beast has the following features.

* d12-sided [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Dice]].
* [[SRD:Base Attack Bonus|Base attack bonus]] equal to total [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Dice]] (as [[SRD:Fighter|Fighter]]).
* A magical beast has two good saves and one poor save, which are indicated in its creature entry.
* [[SRD:Skill Descriptions|Skill points]] equal to (4 + [[SRD:Intelligence|Int]] modifier, minimum 1) per [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Die]], with quadruple [[SRD:Skill Points|skill points]] for the first [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Die]].
