Magiknight

While trained as a Paladin, a magiknight possesses a strong measure of magic in their own blood, much like a sorcerer. The pursuit of arcane prowess has led them to never properly make a spellcasting connection to their deity and has hampered their combat training, but left them with potent spellcasting.

Class: Paladin (or Antipaladin)

Level: 1st-20th

Replaces: BAB, Armor Proficiency, Spellcasting

Benefit: A Magiknight has moderate attack bonus (as a Cleric) and is not proficient with medium or heavy armor.

Spellcasting: A magiknight gains arcane spellcasting, using a bard's spells per day and spells known. She uses her Charisma modifier as her key ability score for spellcasting. A magiknight can pick from the Bard spell list and the Paladin (or antipaladin) spell list when selecting her spell known. Additionally a magiknight gains a single cleric domain, she gains that domain's power as a cleric of her class level and add the domain spells to her spell known list at the listed level when she gains access to that level. A magiknight can cast while wearing light armor without suffering from arcane spell failure.

A fallen magiknight does not lose her spellcasting, but she becomes unable to cast spells on the paladin list that are not also on the bard spell list.

Spell Combat (Ex): This ability function as the Magus ability of the same name, except it affects spells from the bard and paladin spell list instead of magus spells.
