Unlike other Dungeons and Dragons wikis, this wiki is centered around aggressive quality control. On this wiki, you can find material that you can use in your campaigns without balance concerns. To that end we attempt to tag each page with an appropriate balance point; if no balance point is given, it is implied to follow the Same Game test (link forthcoming).

In lieu of using the navigation bar to the left, since not everything is on it, I'm putting link to the main pages of the SRD and UA here, and maybe some other select pages. When Surgo awakens he can fix the Nav Bar. <(-_-*<) --Valentine the Rogue 08:55, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

* I'll keep this updated, since no one else did it before they went to bed. Right now, parts of both UA and the SRD are up. From what I can tell and what the Surgmeister has said, not all of the UA and SRD was exported when he did the categorical exports from the wiki. Major pages are missing, we know, and we're working on breaking down the files to upload them better. It will be a lengthy process of identifying which pages weren't exported and then getting them exported and subsequently imported. If you'd like to help, check out our current "base of operations" if you will at the ironcity. If you don't have a link to it, check out the Tavern at the old wiki, as I'll be sitting in there whenever I can. <(T^T)> --Valentine the Rogue 08:55, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

* On a slightly related note, hope you like the color scheme. It has a lot of bugs, so keep refreshing until you get the browns and beiges we all grew to love (or hate). We're working on getting a logo to fill in that hole to the upper left. Again, if you'd like to volunteer, ironcity is the place to be. Don't like the skin? Deal with it we have more important things to do right now. Sorry, but we honestly do; more skins will be propogated when we get the majority of what needs doing done. Best way to get a different color scheme sooner: help. Finally, if you're curious as to why I'm not just posting a link to IRONCITY here, I'll be honest and tell you I'm not sure if I'm rightly allowed to. I'll try to keep everyone posted! ^(@_@)^ --Valentine the Rogue 08:55, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Tome of Prowess

Standard melee.jpg

In the multiverse that D&D represents, people can begin their life as serfs and, through trials and challenges, end up as legendary heroes capable of amazing feats that rival the gods themselves. Or at least this is what D&D would like you to think, given the weight the designers placed on skill points and skills themselves. In reality though, the skill totals required to do amazing things are only acquired up in the epic levels, and by that point, spellcasters have been doing all of your fancy skill tricks for many levels and your neat trick just isn’t relevant. You’ve probably been doing it yourself with magic items and don’t even know or care that you can do it with that skill you’ve brought up with you.

This supplement for the 3.5 D&D game presents skills to correct that, but it does so by sacrificing the simplicity (and with it the irrelevance) of skills at mid and high levels. There’s a lot more abilities for each skill to keep track of with this modification. But if you're okay with the added complexity, you'll find a lot of additional options and flexibility for the non-spellcasting classes that really need it.
