|rules=Choose up to six creatures in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on that point.  A protective magical force surrounds up to 6 creatures in the radius until the spell ends. The target’s base {{SRD5|AC}} becomes 13 + its {{SRD5|Dexterity}} [[SRD5:Ability Modifier|modifier]]. The spell ends if the target dons {{srd5lc|Armor}} or if you dismiss the spell as an {{srd5lc|Action}}. The spell does not affect creatures already under the {{5espell|Mage Armor}} spell.

==Author's Notes==
This spell was created for situations where there is no time to don armor. It is the same as the ''mage armor'' spell with the following exceptions:
# Higher level. I wanted to set this at an accessible level, but not so low that it outshines the mage armor spell. 
# Range. Added flexibility. Matches the {{5espell|Mass Cure Wounds}} spell.
# Duration. I made this to be a much shorter duration than ''mage armor'' to make the spell level accessible. 
# Scalable. Like ''mass cure wounds'' it provides the full effect of a 1st level spell to multiple targets at range.
