By the Gods... it like a shark on land!

A megalorex is an unholy hybrid between a Megalodon and a Tyrannosaurus Rex created by a mad wizard. It has the general body type of a tyrannosaurus while having the head, fins and gills of a megalodon. This terrible creature is capable of survival in the water and one land, becoming an apex predator in both world. Unlike both of it counterparts, it is also magically enhanced granting it enhanced durability as well as intensive magical defenses.

The Megalorex fight relatively simply by overwhelming it foes with it superior power. If it fights an opponents it cannot defeat it will retreats back below the waves where it opponent cannot follow it.

Amphibious (Ex): The Megalorex can breath both air and water, they can survive indefinitely on land.

Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, a Megalorex must hit with its bite attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.

Keen Scent (Ex): A megalorex can notice creatures by scent in a 180-foot radius and can detect blood in the water at a range of up to 1 mile.

Magical Mutation (Su): A megalorex is under the permanent effect of air walk, freedom of movement, mage armor and mind blank.

Powerful Bite (Ex) A megalorex applies twice its Strength modifier to bite damage.

Skills: A megalorex has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. It can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered.

It can use the run action while swimming, provided it swims in a straight line.
