Millenarch[edit]

Proto-humans born of a conflux of opposing magical energies. This is a lost race, a perfect blueprint of humankind that was scattered to the winds in eons past. He Who Was, the creator of the millenarchs looked upon his new creations and marveled at his handiwork these first beings were perfect, it was time to spread his creations to the rest of the multiverse. It was then that he began mass production of this new race, halfway through the process however, there was a creak as the door to his workshop opened up, So engrossed in his work He Who Was did not notice his trusted lieutenant Asmodeus enter the room. It was only when he felt his head get slammed into the ground by some blood red blunt object that he realized the betrayal, before he could react Asmodeus finished the job and killed his master. Some of the only witnesses to this crime were his first creations the millenarchs, who to this day will never forgive, never forget. They were caught in the deathroes of their creator and the raw unstable energy he let off in his final moments changed them forevermore. The half finished creations of his became mankind while the witnesses and their descendants became the millenarchs of the current era.

Personality[edit]

"Drats, this one didn't know anything either," Zeroth shouted as he tore his sword free from the eye socket of the ancient Marilith. "That pigeon tailed, swine of a Solar better have the answers I seek"... In a brilliant flash of light, Zeroth the Seeker, disappeared from the abyssal wasteland and stood at the gates to the great mountain of Celestia his quest as many others of his kind seemed so close to nearing its end. "Let some other scholarly fool search for the answers in some ancient text I intend to wring my answers from the necks of those who knew what happened," Zeroth declared as he barged through the golden gates. He briefly wondered what he would do if this Solar didn't have the answers he seeked it would have to be a stop to the nine hells then to pay a visit to that traitorous scum Asmodeus.

As an ancient race of opposing magical natures they have a need to see things balanced. As a race scattered to the winds they are on a quest of discovery to reconnect to their roots and as such are quite inquisitive of the world around them. They can be vengeful to those who wrong them, but for those who can count one as an ally they find that their loyalty and support is matched by few others.

Physical Description[edit]

Standing proud and alert millenarch looks in most respects to the form of an ideal human, deeply muscular, hair of a variety of shades all with rich luster, their form is chiseled in such a way it looks almost the work of a master artisan, they are slightly taller than their less evolved kin being commonly close to seven feet or more in height. Their sole characteristic that sets them apart from an exceptional human being is their semi-transparent skin just which just beneath the surface you see an immense palette of colors all swirling and clashing with one another depending on the mood of the millenarch in question. The eye color of a millenarch is similarly in flux shifting from red to brown to blue or any color of the rainbow depending on their mood.

Relations[edit]

With regards to humans a millenarch sees them as oblivious siblings, short lived, struggling in vain to find something to fill their empty lives. To elves they see a parallel path they themselves could have taken if their creator were still around, they envy the elves in their sureness of the world. As for gnomes they grow a little tired of their endless games and trickery but admire their untarnishable spirit and air of goodwill. When it comes to dwarves millenarchs see beings whose makers craftsmanship is as great as their own the ancient oral histories and wonderous craft of the dwarves fascinate the millenarchs to no end and friendly relations between the two types of beings is quite common. Halflings to millenarchs seem to be at times to be either no good thieves or crazy little heroes to big for their britches the millenarchs can't seem to think what to make of them. Half-orcs are creatures of excess rage and depressing estrangement in the eyes of a millenarch they feel for their plight but aren't entirely sure that with the attitude half-orcs have that their plight is entirely unjustified. As for half-elves they kind of see them as refined if not yet perfected versions of humans. All in all millenarchs get along with most everyone they meet even if at first they seem a little world weary.

Alignment[edit]

Usually Lawful they are a race that know the importance of balance within oneself and may seek to impress that balance into others whether through justice or tyranny. Good/evil either are as likely to be in the millenarch society as they are in human society.

Lands[edit]

Long ago the millenarch had lands of which to call their own mighty empires that crossed the world and those beyond but, such days are long since past and millenarchs can be found in any of the societies of the world today.

Religion[edit]

Religion is a touchy subject with the millenarchs as their creator was the deity only now known as He Who Was. A deity killed long ago and betrayed by his most loyal lieutenant Asmodeus almost universally the millenarchs scrounge for every piece of knowledge associated with their deity. In between their searches however they might crave the attention of the divine and fall under the wing of another deity for a time.
