This weapon seems unassuming, a cold iron short sword with gentle wavy curves along its edge and a sharp point. The blood channel is polished to a silvery gleam, and holding it fills you with warmth.
The mither blade is a masterwork cold iron short sword associated with warm weather and calm waters. It can be used underwater with no penalties, does not rust, and when wielded it grants the user endure elements (cold only) as it warms the air around it. It also deals an additional +2 fire damage on a successful attack. This is a magical effect (with price altered from cold iron accordingly), but does not require a base +1 enhancement.
Creatures who are vulnerable to sunlight fear the blade and are At Bay form you as long as they can see it. Creatures with light sensitivity or light blindness are dazzled when making attack rolls against you.
If the mither blade is wielded at the same time as the Teran Fork the two weapons enter conflict and both of their respective elements change to electric damage. The user is cloaked in a maelstrom of winds which gives -10 to Move Silently checks, but grants immunity against harmful gases, clears smoke and fog, and provides a -4 penalty to projectile attacks against you. This conflict persists for up to 1 minute, and after 1 minute one of the two weapons at random shuts off all of its magical abilities for 10 minutes.
The mither blade is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
