|fluff=So your enemy told you to surrender your weapons. You politely told them to put theirs “up theirs”
|text=You gain protection from ranged attacks: any attack that requires a ranged attack roll (or ranged touch attack roll) against you deals 10 points less damage. Furthermore, you must make a Truespeak check. For every 5 points by which your roll exceeds 10, you gain a +1 shield bonus to AC that stacks with itself (+1 at 15, +2 at 20, etc). Furthermore, you can designate one enemy at the time you use this maneuver. You gain a dodge bonus to AC against any attacks this enemy makes against you. This dodge bonus is equal to the shield bonus this maneuver gives you. This effect remains until the end of the encounter. If you use this boost again, the new use replaces the old one.
