Monk of the Wilderness

A monk of the wilderness is a monk who do not live a monastic lifestyle, instead focusing on living a natural life much like a wild animal. monk of the wilderness is often combined with rage monk.

Class: Monk

Level: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and every level thereafter.

Replaces: Alignment, Weapon Proficiency, Special Monk Weapons, 2nd level Bonus Feat

Benefit: A monk of the wilderness gain the following benefits:

Alignment: monk of the wildernesss must be of any neutral alignment.

Weapon proficiency: A monk of the wilderness is proficient with club, simple and martial spears and her unarmed attack. This replace normal monk's weapon proficiencies.

Special Monk Weapon: A monk of the wilderness treat club and spears of all kind as special monk weapon, allowing her to use her special monk abilities with them.

Simple Lifestyle: Instead of her normal ascetic lifetyle a monk of the wilderness strive to live a simple life, she must live in simple or natural shelter, eat food she hunted herself and prepared herself and she shun the luxuries of civilization. If she does not follow such conduct she take a -2 moral penalty to AC and saving throws until she resume her simple lifestyle.

If she gain levels in Fist of the ForestCC prestige class this code of conduct replace Primal Living.

Hardened: At 2nd level a monk of the wilderness gain Endurance and Great Fortitude as a bonus feat.

Woodland Stride: Starting at 3rd level, a monk of the wilderness may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. However, thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion still affect her.

Green Meditation: At 5th level a monk of the wilderness may sit still in a natural environment for 1 hours, if she does so she replicate the effect of commune with nature.

Wild Shape: At 7th level a monk of the wilderness gain the ability to wild shape as druid of her level -2.
