Mourning's Aftermath[edit]

The Day of Mourning was a cataclysmic event that rocked the entire continent of Khorvaire. Within Eberron's normal timeline, it ended the war which had raged on for so long, but apart from that life continued much as it always had. In this timeline, magic became twisted and strange, a great fog covers much of the continent where strange things lurk, and magic and new-found technology have a poor relationship where one is antithetical to the other.

Many of the ideas of this campaign setting incorporate elements from Eberron, Magical Industrial Revolution, the Blades in the Dark RPG, the Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura and Dishonored games, and the Girl Genius webcomic.
