This ability enhances on the user's [[Tri Beam (3.5e Invocation)|Tri-Beam]] attack, and he has learned how to infuse more of his own life force into his Tri-Beam. To do this a user must take a standard action to press just his index fingers together, his middle fingers together and his thumbs together making a vague upside down diamond shape with his hands. When he does this he takes 1d4 damage to use his own life force to infuse his ki. He can then fire a 5 ft wide shockwave of energy. The beam is resolved as a ranged touch attack with a Reflex save for half damage. If it hits the target, the target must make a reflex saving throw (DC = 10 + user's class level + user's dexterity modifier) if they fail, the attack deals an amount of damage equal to the user's normal unarmed strike damage + the users class level.   

If the beam misses the original target completely it continues on for 50 feet per class level until it strikes another creature or object. The beam must also hit a secondary creatures touch AC and must then also make the same Reflex saving throw as the original. If it strikes an unattended object or surface such as a wall, mountain or ground, then it bypasses any objects hardness and that surface or object takes the damage instead with no save. A user can take no other actions while using this ability including move and move equivalent actions and even free actions.

In addition, if a user spends an additional 6 ki on this attack he can take an additional 1d4 damage and deal an additional 2d6 damage with the attack. He may also spend an additional 10 ki points to increase the area of effect from a 5' x 5' shockwave to 10' x 10' area. He may spend no more than  6 ki per class level on the attack. This ki is spent before the attack roll is resolved.

Example: If Toma a 20th level Saiyan Warrior used this ability he would spend 5 ki points and this attack would deal his 2d10 unarmed damage that he normally gets with Ki Volley +20 damage for his class level. So for the 1d6 damage taken, and the 5 ki spent this beam would deal 2d10 + 20 damage. Alternatively, he could spend 5 ki on the base attack and enhance it with 114 ki which would make it deal 2d10 + 19d6 +20 and he would take 20d4 damage himself.
