North River Blade[edit]

Price: 11515 gp
Body Slot: Held
Caster Level: 9th
Aura: Moderate Transmutation
Activation: --
Weight: 1.8 lb.

Fine sylvan detailwork is etched along the center of the blade, with a twisting pommel and hilt. It once lay buried on a small island between two branches of a split river. The river flowed with cold water from the mountain nearby, and the fey that guarded the blade were covetous and scheming. The blade's true sylvan name is lost.

This +1 feycraftDMG2 soak nobility bane mithral longsword deals additional damage to creatures of nobility or royalty (whether by title, blood or self-proclamation). While drawn, the wearer also benefits from the effects of endure elements.

However, the blade is also cursed, and any true nobility or royalty gains a bonus to attack and damage against you as if by the Bane enhancement. If the holder ever kills a royal or noble, the curse stays with them even if they no longer possess the weapon, unless their target is brought back from the dead or a remove curse is cast upon the holder.

The North River Blade is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.

Prerequisites: N/A.
Cost to Create: Unique item, cannot be created.
