Numbed

A state in which a creature's motor functions are heavily impaired, and their body responds very badly to muscle commands. A numbed creature is effectively slowed, and a creature with positive Strength or Dexterity modifiers has them reduced to +0, although technically a numbed creature still enjoys its Dexterity to AC. A numbed creature's capacity for somatic movements is greatly impaired, increasing their arcane spell failure chance by 50%. In addition, a numbed creature takes a -4 penalty to AC, attack rolls, damage rolls, and all checks based on physical ability scores.

A number creature may still attack however, and can defend itself properly.
