A strange arrow whose head is made of solidified aetherion, it shaft is constructed from a series of interlocking adamantine plate and it weight quite heavily for an arrow. Despite being heavy and awkward, an oblivion arrow is aerodynamic and fly much like a mundane arrow.

An oblivion arrow is a powerful device, which use an aetherion reaction to wipe out a creature from reality. As it base it appears to be a +5 adamantine arrow with a strange translucent arrowhead, held stable by a device built into the shaft.

Once a creature is struck by an oblivion arrow it must make a DC 20 Fortitude save or be utterly annihilated, destroying all of it non-indestructible equipment. If the save is successful the target instead take an additional 10d6 typeless damages, if reduced to 0 hit point or lower by this attack it is obliterated as if it failed the save. The creature's consciousness and soul are instantly obliterated, unless preserved by an outside effect such as a lich's phylactery. In order to bring back a creature slain by an oblivion arrow a miracle or wish spell is required.

Unlike a typical piece of ammunition, an oblivion arrow does not break unless it destroy it target. Thus a missed projectile or an attack that failed to slay it target remain usable. If the arrow was discharged (as in damaged a foe), it remain inert for 24 hours and will break if fired again before then.

While oblivion arrows are not quite unique, it cannot be easily crafted as the methods for manufacturing the head is lost to time.

Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, disintegrate, limited wish, the crafter must provide a piece of solidified aetherion worth 800 gp to be used as a head.
Cost to Create: 2,500 GP, 200 EXP, 5 days.
