Obscure Text
Illusion (Glamer)
Level: Bard 0, Cleric 0, Sorcerer/Wizard 0
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Up to 25 words of text
Duration: 1 hour/level (D); see text
Saving Throw: None (object)
Spell Resistance: No

Release the valve, but not before [REDACTED] multiple lacerations and severe loss of [DATA EXPUNGED] XK-7 end of world event completes.

Cast upon a body of text, you can obscure up to 25 words under blurring, pixels, black bars, or other forms of obscuring. The text is clearly there, but unreadable. An erase spell removes this spell effect, and true seeing bypasses it. By speaking a command word set by you, the spell can either suppress itself for 1 minute, or remove itself completely. The spell cannot affect magical text.

By casting it as a spell one level higher, the duration becomes 1 day/level. You can also add an expensive material component to make it permanent.

Material Component: A drop of lemon juice. The 1st level version also can use a 50 gp component of finely crushed glass to make it permanent.
