A phoenix knight is a powerful combatant who enhanced himself with the power of a flame phoenix, gaining fantastic power in the process.

Becoming a Phoenix Knight[edit]

Entry Requirements  
Base Attack Bonus: 15+. 
Skills: Knowledge (Nature) 15 ranks. 
Feats: Incinerate
Special: Access Divine Power (Fire, Hellfire or Solar) or natural access to one of such domain.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Phoenix Knight.

Everbright Flames (Ex): A phoenix knight's flames are capable of burning through resistance and immunity with ease. A phoenix knight ignore resistance to fire damage and halves immunity to fire damage. Additionally her abilities count as [light] effect for the purpose of dispelling [darkness] effects. She may suppress or resume this ability as a free action.

Additionally as a bonus any weapon you wield (included unarmed strike and natural weapon) have the flaming enhancement (which stack with any enhancement on your weapons, including another shock enhancement.

Heat Blast (Su): A phoenix knight can unleash a blast of pure heat, instantly cooking enemies inside out and turning the ground into molten slag. As a standard action she may duplicate the effect of a molten (x3) maximized ur fireball. After using heat blast she must wait 1d4 round before using it again.

Mantle of the Firebird: A phoenix knight is more or less one with primordial flames, she gain fire absorption and her blow carry extremely potent explosive flames. At her option, the first melee attack she make in a round also cause an explosion as the merton spell (which will be most likely absorbed by her fire absorption).

Phoenix Magic (Su): A 2nd level Phoenix Knight may cast the following spells as supernatural abilities at will: conntrol flames, fireball, flame strike and rain of fireballs.

At 5th level she gain the ability to use meteoric mortar and nine acre fire as supernatural ability three time per days each, both abilities are not affected by Ruler's Flames. At 8th level she may use both at will.

The Flame of Life (Su): As a swift action a 2nd level phoenix lord can turn her flame a whitish gold for 1 round, doing so make all her [fire] ability deal positive energy damage (healing living creature) instead of fire damage. Her flames can even cause overheal (like in the positive energy plane) and cause creatures to explode in positive energy if healed too much. She must decide if her flame cause overheal or not when she activate this ability.

Wings of the Phoenix (Su): A 4th level phoenix knight is constantly under the effect of the wings of the phoenix power. She do not need to use up her psionic focus to use the heat ray ability of the power.

Burning Away (Su): A 4th level is capable of instantaneously travelling by stepping in any large or larger fire as a move action, replicating the effect of warp except using large or larger fire as anchor points. This is not a teleportation effect. Additionally the phoenix knight is capable of using fiery discorporation as a supernatural ability at will.

At 8th level she is transported as per greater warp and may use her transportation ability as a swift action instead.

Olympian Strength (Ex): A 4th level phoenix knight gain a bonus to all strength check equal to her character level, she also add her character levels to her strength score to determine her carrying capacity.

Phoenix Servant (Ex): A 5th level phoenix knight receive the aid of a flame phoenix companion. It gain bonus as if it was a druid's animal companion, using twice your phoenix knight level as druid level.

Ruler's Flames: A 6th level Phoenix Knight may call her phoenix magic as a swift action (although she may still call upon them as standard action).

Rebirth From Flames (Su): At 7th level the phoenix knight receive the flame phoenix's rebirth ability for herself.

Phoenix King: A 8th level phoenix knight's phoenix magic is both empowered and maximized at her option.

Everbright Aura (Su): When a 8th level phoenix knight is struck, she may unleash at her option a powerful wave of fire, duplicating the effect of superexplosion. If her phoenix egg is destroyed and she is somehow permanently killed (like destroying her soul) she go out in one last blaze of glory. Her body (or soul) explode as megaton.

Ascendant Firebird: A 10th level phoenix knight's reign over her blazing white flame is supreme, her phoenix magic is now intensified at her option.
