Say "Fiend-Cheese."
The abyss is filled with infinite demons and infinite worlds, a rolling cesspool of madness, evil, and destruction. But many forget that the abyss is not merely evil, it is also chaotic, and like Limbo it is prone to creating nearly anything which can exist. While there are a thousand and one variations of torment and evil, sometimes you get a layer where things are almost... normal. It's from one of those layers that dread Poezimuis hails from. Rather than take on the typical behavior of a vrock of his kind, Poezimuis uses his abyssal powers to... take pictures and sell them to various publishers and artists.
Poezimuis knows you are laughing, but it is serious business. If something is happening, Poezimuis will be there. If nature must be observed, Poezimuis shall observe it. Let nothing be unphotographed, Poezimuis is on the case! Thus, for a demon, Poezimuis is a fairly pleasant one. Rarely does he desired to merely rip of the face of a mortal, not when he can take photographs of a potential model. And if said model is supposed to be a corpse that day, so be it. But honestly he's not that violent, not compared to his other vrock kin. One can even parley with him and he will sometimes do deals to take pictures of things, for the right price. Of course he is still evil, and takes no qualms with the ethics of journalism, even if it means idly recording the mass extermination of lives in a genocide of witnessing the suffering of others by disease. Fear not, your suffering will be recorded for posterity!
All in all, a pretty nice guy. Just don't make fun of his title...
Combat
Poezimuis is a vrock with the hypno template (even though the template cannot be added to outsiders normally), with different skills than a normal vrock. He is always carrying various cameras and recording devices on him, held within a handy haversack along his shoulder.
Poezimuis typically avoids fighting, since it means less time for taking pictures. He often uses the powers given by the hypno template to fascinate or dominate targets, have them pose and act for the camera before releasing them, sometimes in dangerous or humiliating situations, for the lulz. And if need be, he can still hold his own in a fight. He is a vrock after all.
Dance of Ruin (Su): To use this ability, a group of at least three vrocks must join hands in a circle, dancing wildly and chanting.
At the end of 3 rounds of dancing, a wave of crackling energy flashes outward in a 100-foot radius. All creatures except for demons within the radius take 20d6 points of damage (Reflex DC 18 half). Stunning, paralyzing, or slaying one of the vrocks stops the dance. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Dominate Monster (Ps): As Psionic Dominate. May use this ability once a week. The save DC is 20 and the saving throw is Charisma based. Unlike normal domination effects, a creature dominated by this ability may be commanded to perform suicidal actions, but such a target gains a new saving throw against this, automatically succeeding if the target is immune to death effects.
Fascinate (Sp): As a standard action, he may make a fascinating gaze. Any creature that views this gaze must make a will save DC 20 or become fascinated. The save DC is Charisma based. A creature may purposely fail this Will save, as Poezimuis may also induce feelings of a story. If creatures voluntarily fail their will save to this effect, the Poezimuis may make Perform (hypnotize) checks. This is a mind-affecting effect.
Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): At will—mirror image, telekinesis (DC 20), greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only); 1/day—heroism. Caster level 12th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.
Spores (Ex): A vrock can release masses of spores from its body once every 3 rounds as a free action. The spores automatically deal 1d8 points of damage to all creatures adjacent to the vrock. They then penetrate the skin and grow, dealing an additional 1d4 points of damage each round for 10 rounds. At the end of this time, the victim is covered with a tangle of viny growths. (The vines are harmless and wither away in 1d4 days.) A delay poison spell stops the spores’ growth for its duration. Bless, neutralize poison, or remove disease kills the spores, as does sprinkling the victim with a vial of holy water.
Stunning Screech (Su): Once per hour a vrock can emit a piercing screech. All creatures except for demons within a 30-foot radius must succeed on a DC 22 Fortitude save or be stunned for 1 round. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Summon Demon (Sp): Once per day a vrock can attempt to summon 2d10 dretches or another vrock with a 35% chance of success. This ability is the equivalent of a 3rd-level spell.
Skills: Vrocks have a +8 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks. He also has a +8 bonus to Perform (hypnotism) checks.
