Polearm Master Monk

You come from a tradition of monk which had less emphasis on unarmed combat, instead training it students in the way of the polearm.

Class: Monk

Level: 1st

Replaces: Weapon Proficiency, Unarmed Damage Progression

Benefit: A Polearm Master Monk receive proficiency with all simple weapon and martial weapon proficiency with all polearms (such as a glaive or spear) instead of her normal weapon proficiency. She gain Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. When attacking with a Quarterstaff or a polearm she may add her Wisdom to damage instead of her Strength and they count as special monk weapons.

You count your Monk level as fighter level for the purpose of qualifying for feats with a fighter level requirement which improve staff weapons or polearms (scuh as Weapon Specialization).
