A fallen deity of divination and foresight, he continues to whispers secrets from his prison.

Origin

In times recorded before history, a great living god was worshiped by primitive men. This entity was ill defined with many appearances and shapes, yet all describe a being covered in a multitude of eyes inside and out. Some claim it was a deity, others an elder evil, but all agree it was stronger in the past. It was a being of foresight and prophecy, speaking truths and futures yet to be to those who would follow it. At some point it was involved in a great scheme by other powers and blinked for just a moment. In this moment of blindness it was betrayed, shattered, its eyes and its powers spread across the cosmos and its body imprisoned in the Wells of Darkness to be contained for all time.

However, it continued to persist. From deep within the well that was its prison it began to whisper secrets once more, and its many eyes continues to drift in the world taking on the form of many ancient prophetic artifacts of legend. It is said that it plots to gather its many eyes once more, for the majority of its strength was broken and scattered before its entombment. If these artifacts were to gather in number it would have enough strength too pull the body of Poros from the wells of darkness, and join him yet whole once more.

Some claim that Poros is simply a confusion with the alien qlippoth demon Cabiri, another resident of the wells of darkness with a similar portfolio. Still others claim that Cabiri is a shard of Poros, or vice versa. Whatever the case, the incarnation known as Poros is less actively evil than it is amoral, manipulative, and distant to the affairs of mortals.

Description

Whatever shape Poros held in the past is long gone, and its only depictions describe a vast black slime covered with eyes inside and out. It is presumed he could take on different forms, had he only the strength to do so. He was always depicted with eyes stained a strange shade of pink.

Dogma

Poros wants nothing and asks nothing, yet those who would seek out Poros can gain his aide. Poros does not trade in spells or domains, but information. His knowledge is vast, and his hunger for knowledge even more vast. In addition any who brings him or collects his artifacts is sure to gain his favor, for whatever that may mean.

Clergy and Temples

Poros does not have worshipers, but a few of his artifacts are known to compel their users into certain acts or grant knowledge to manipulate the future of their wielders. In doing so, they enact the will of Poros.
