Priority Spell [Metamagic] Benefit: A priority spell is cast at the start of initiative before any creature is able to take their turn. If multiple priority spells are being cast in a round they go in order of their caster's initiative respectively. The act of casting a priority spell uses up the caster's standard action during their next turn. A caster cannot cast a spell modified by priority spell if she would be unable to cast or unable to take a standard action.

A caster cannot apply the priority spell metamagic feat on a spell which requires a full-round action or longer to cast. However a priority spell does not increase the casting time if applied to a spontaneous spell. A priority spell uses up a spell slot two levels higher than the spell’s actual level.
