Project Apparition
Necromancy

This spell allows the caster to project a ghostly simulacrum of themselves, able to act in their stead. Upon casting project apparition, the caster immediately falls into a stupor and their copy appears in either an adjacent square, or is instantly transported to another plane (as per plane shift). The copy is almost identical in appearance to the caster, except for phantasmal traits such as mild translucence or ghostly edges. The apparition is statistically identical to a Simulacrum of the caster, except with the caster's full mental ability scores. The apparition starts with no equipment, but may retrieve any equipment they wish from their original body or elsewhere.

While the apparition is manifested, the caster is unable to take any action except ending this spell, they are only dimly aware of their surroundings. The caster's body is not helpless, and if they take any damage she may immediately end the spell as a free action even if it is not their turn. Any spells or limited use ability cast by the apparition is also expended for the caster, this is even further limited by the simulacrum 's lesser capabilities. The caster is in full control of the apparition.

If the apparition is destroyed or the spell ends, it disintegrates, leaving any equipment it carries behind. Despite being a magical effect, the apparition is not adversely affected by anti-magic field and dead magic zone and cannot be dispelled. Any status effect, ability damage, ability drain or such inflicted on the apparition is not transferred to the caster, who is unharmed when the apparition is destroyed.
