Red Eye Flower[edit]

This bright red flower has large distinctive petals. When consumed or brewed it becomes a rage inducing drug. Grown in places which have experienced great violence in the past, the echos of war grow amongst these innocuous looking plants. If petals are consumed directly the user enters a rage as a 1st level barbarian, or their normal rage if they possess the feature. The petals are addictive, provoking a DC 20 Fortitude save each day against being compelled to use the drug again. Failure to get the drug renders the user fatigued. If fatigued, they are instead exhausted. The save is made daily until 3 consecutive saves are made.

After the first dose, each time they enter a rage there is a cumulative 5% chance that the rage does not end. If this occurs the user loses sight of friend and foe at the end of their normal rage duration and typically continues their slaughter. Unfortunately curing it is difficult as this is considered a curse with a caster level of 15th. Even if the curse is cured, the addiction is not.
