A creature that you touch has its age reduced by up to 3d8 years, but this cannot age them back to any less than the age that their race reaches physical maturity. Any of the penalties to your ability scores that you've accumulated during the years that were restored by this spell are reversed and eliminated. However, any bonuses that you have accrued over the years that were restored by this spell remain in place. This spell is very physically strenuous to the recipients body and even if willing, the subject must succeed at a DC 15 Fortitude save for the spell to take effect. If the subject fails this save, than they return to their normal physical age on the following round. If the subject fails this save by more than 5 and they have been affected by this spell, ''[[Steal_Youth_(3.5e_Spell)|steal youth]]'' or have drank a potion of ''restore youth'' or ''steal youth'', or have ever had their age magically reduced by any other spell or effect like a ''[[SRD:Limited Wish|Limited Wish]]'', ''[[SRD:Wish|Wish]]'' or ''[[SRD:Miracle|Miracle]]'' spell or effect ever before this, then the subject regains ''all'' of their lost years. If this ages the subject past their normal life span, then they die immediately and if this amount is at least 5 years more than their normal life span, the subject also crumbles into a pile of dry, loose dust within a round.
