RodoranEdit

Rodorans are a race of creatures that have been mutated with force magic. All Rodorans are born with an affinity for force.

PersonalityEdit

Rodorans tend to be blunt, direct, and unconcerned with procedure or convention. They also tend to be very physical, and debates between Rodorans can quickly degenerate into fistfights. Rodorans are also extremely competitive in all spheres of life- Rodoran chefs will strive to best neighboring operations in food quality, blacksmiths will race against each other to produce the greatest amount of swords, and Rodoran adventurers are well-known for their propensity towards dueling other powerful entities. This even shows itself in war, and Rodoran military histories often include kill counts for units or individuals.

Physical DescriptionEdit

Rodorans tend to stand between 5' 6" and 6' 6" and usually weigh between 160 and 300 pounds. Their skin is usually bright, and sometimes tinted blue. Rodorans commonly have bright blue eyes. Their hair is usually black or brown- there are no blond Rodorans. Facial hair is possible, but unusual.

RelationsEdit

Rodorans tend to get along well with other races that share their bluntness. They are usually amicable towards the "monster races," such as Orcs or Goblinoids. They tend to despise stealth and indirectness, making it difficult for them to get along with Gnomes, Halflings, and other beings that are more subtle.

AlignmentEdit

Most Rodorans tend towards Chaos. They tend to dislike pointless procedures, and usually feel that a job can be done best at the discretion of the person doing it.

LandsEdit

Rodorans are hardy, and they cut civilization out of the worst corners of the wilderness. They are at home in dangerous lands, and will gladly attempt to settle in the harshest of environments as a challenge.

ReligionEdit

Most Rodorans follow Kord, god of strength. Some large Rodoran settlements hold yearly festivals in his honor. These festivals are centered on a series of athletic competitions, reminiscent of the Olympics. Some evil Rodorans follow Erythnul.

LanguageEdit

Rodorans speak Common as their native language. They also tend to be familiar with Dwarven, Goblin, Orc, and Giant.

NamesEdit

Rodorans will sometimes borrow names from respected or legendary figures. A Rodoran has a first name, family name, and a number of titles based on their accomplishments. These accomplishments might include the slaying of a powerful beast, the defeat of a powerful foe in single combat, championship in a large athletic competition, or great achievement in their chosen craft.
