These extremely ornate [[Arbalest (3.5e Equipment)|arbalest]] were commissioned by a young queen for her monstrous royal knights. Despite their elegant appearance, their clever lever-mechanism and dense steel prod give them a colossal draw strength. 

Statistically the Royal Knight Heavy Arbalest are large +2 [[Deisteel (3.5e Equipment)|Deisteel]] [[Arbalest (3.5e Equipment)|Arbalests]] which deal damage as if they were on size category larger (4d8 damage). The incredible draw mechanism on these arbalest require the wielder to make a DC 25 [[Strength]] whenever she attempt to reload, the user fail to reload the weapon but only lose a move action.

The bolts fired from these arbalest must be custom-made (each cost 1 gp), but strike which such force that they ignore 5 points of hardness and cause struck creature to pushed back. If a creature is struck by a bolt fired from one of these arbalest it make a Fortitude save (DC equal to 10 + 1/2 Base Attack Bonus + the wielder's [[Dexterity]] bonus) or be pushed 10 ft backward and fall [[SRD:Prone|prone]]. 

Finally once per day the wielder of these crossbow may make a quick prayer to the young queen as a move action, which trigger an effect identical to the [[Sacrificial Ignition (3.5e Equipment)|Sacrificial Ignition]] enhancement except it deal electricity damage and do not inflict bleedout on the user. While this effect is active the wielder become immune to fear-effects.
