Since [[SRD:Undead Type|undead]] are powered by negative energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds. An [[SRD:Undead Type|undead creature]] can apply [[SRD:Spell Resistance|spell resistance]], and can attempt a [[SRD:Will Save|Will save]] to take half damage.
