Samurai Pokemaniac
For the Samurai (Races of War) who wishes to have a pokemon brother in arms.
Class: Samurai
Level: 1, 5, 10, 15
Replaces: Pledge of Loyalty, Ancestral Guidance, reduced Weapon Bonus, Blade of Devastation, Iaijutsu Master
Benefit: At first level, you gain a pokemon and the Control Pokemon and Train Pokemon abilities. Your Ancestral Weapon's Enhancement Bonus is forever reduced by 1 (to a minimum of +1). Samurai typically choose Bug, Steel and Grass Type Pokemon.
At fifth level, you become a Blade Brother (Ex) with your Pokemon: it may use any of your Kiai! uses for you. You also gain Increased Awareness.
At tenth level, your pokemon always keeps in mind the goal of stabbing the enemy in the face. Any Pokemon you control can use your own BAB in place of its own, and in place of its Initiative Bonus and Intimidate ranks, if this would be beneficial.
At fifteenth level, you may become a Gym Leader of either Grass or Bug Types. You gain the effects of the appropriate badge at all times, and can craft more of that kind with an hour of work. You also gain a second pokemon, equal in level to the first, of the appropriate Type for your Gym.
