Semiconscious

A semiconscious character may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can he take full-round actions). His use of swift actions is not impaired. He moves at half speed (round down to the next 5-foot increment). When taking move actions or swift actions, he doesn't risk falling unconscious, but performing any standard action (or any other action the DM deems strenuous, including some free actions such as casting a quickened spell) forces the character to make a Will save (the DC being detailed under the source effect's description) or fall unconscious.

Each round while semiconscious, the character is typically allowed to attempt a Will save instead of any other action to shrug off the effect unless noted otherwise.

Each round while unconscious from this condition, the character is typically allowed to attempt a Will save to again become semiconscious unless noted otherwise.
