[[Summary::Shatterforce weapons can make critical hits on command, at the risk of breaking the weapon.  Fortunately the weapon can be repaired, and its breaking power can apply to fragile substances at will.]]  As a free action as part of a successful attack you can make it a critical threat.  If the critical threat is confirmed, your weapon enters a broken state, dealing minimum damage from this point on and a -1 penalty on attack.

If the weapon is broken from its critical enhancement or from other means, it can be reformed by focusing on the weapon remains for 1 round.

In addition you can use a shatterforce weapon to cast ''[[SRD:Shatter|shatter]]'' at will, with a caster level equal to your BAB and saving throw based on your attack modifier.  Once used, the shatter function cannot be used for 5 rounds.

This enhancement is a +1 enhancement on a x2 critical weapon, +2 on a x3 critical weapon, and a +3 on a x4 critical weapon.  This enhancement does not function on ammunition, but can function on projectile weapons.
