Spring of Life
Conjuration (Healing)
Level: Cleric 8, Deathbane 8
Components: V, S, F
Casting time: 10 minutes
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Effect: A spring of blessed water
Duration: 1 day/level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

You imbue a spring of pure water no larger than 20 by 20 feet with a large amount of positive energy, bestowing the water and the surrounding area with powerful healing properties. The area becomes consecrated out to 100 feet, and creatures in it are shielded against death effects as per the death ward spell. The spring counts as a shrine for the purpose of the consecration effect. A well, oasis or man-made reservoir may also be used as a focus for the spell, given that its size is within the limits of the spell..

Every living creature gains fast healing equal to your caster level while within the area of the emanation. Furthermore, every undead creature entering the emanation is automatically turned and cannot approach the center of the emanation further if its Hit Dice is up to your caster level -5, or destroyed outright if its Hit Dice is up to your caster level -10. Higher level undead may enter the area normally, but are subjected to the disruption from the consecrate effect and take damage equal to your caster level every round. A successful Will save halves the damage dealt.

When ingested directly by a living person, the water from the spring eliminates all fatigue and exhaustion, and acts as a combination of the following spells; neutralize poison, remove blindness/deafness, remove curse, remove disease, restoration and break enchantment (with an automatic 20 on the caster level check).

When taken out of the area of the spell, the water from the spring loses its blessing after 12 hours. This duration doubles if stored in a well sealed potion vial.

Focus: A body of still water.
