This unique beautifully craved staff is not an usual magic staff, rather it is a +1 [[Wildbone (3.5e Equipment)|Wildbone]] [[Short Staff (3.5e Equipment)|Short Staff]]. The staff was given to a  young traveler as a farewell gift and a promise of a future return, it is grafted from the horns of a great wild elk and grant blessing on it user. While held, the staff triple the overland speed of user and up to eight creatures travelling alongside with her. The staff may be used to cast [[SRD:Faerie Fire|''faerie fire'']] at will, although only one instances may exist at any time.

When held, the staff place the wielder under the effect of the [[SRD:Find the Path|''find the path'']] spell, leading to the place the character consider it true home. The user also gain the [[SRD:Minotaur|Minotaur]]'s Natural Cunning ability while holding the staff except that the user may still be caught flat-footed.

The Staff of Guidance is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
