Stormcaller

This is a total rewrite of the Stormcaster class from Stormwrack, however it bears great difference and share mostly a thematic structure.

That it! If I fire bolt like this and I obliterate you right there. That said looking at you now, a gust of wind might finish you off.
—Ikeda Tomoe, Mitahnese Human Stormcaller

It was said that ancient caster would turn to the sky for their powers, of those some drew upon the power of the storm. The stormcaller follow that principle, channeling the fury of a storm into the spells. Those who embark on this path can be chaotic mind, using their emotion to draw upon the fury above, or discipline mind able to carefully harness the powers in their spellcasting. A stormcaller's air, electric and water spells are enhanced by their connection with the storm and more than a few rely upon them.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Stormcaller.

Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a Stormcaller, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

Storm Power (Ex): A Stormcaller is capable of harnessing the fury of the storm. Any spell or spell-like you cast that has the air, electricity, sonic, or water descriptor is cast at +2 caster level.

Eye of the Storm (Ex): A 2nd level Stormcaller is capable of weathering even the greatest storm, she gain energy resistance to electricity 10 and treat wind effect as one category less severe when advantageous. If she fall under the effect of air walk or wind walk on herself she increase her speed by 30 feet and 300 feet respectively.

Channel the Storm (Su): A 3rd level Stormcaller can channel the storm into her spells, as a full-round action while in a storm, hurricane or similar weather condition she can channel the true fury of the storm in her next spell. The next spell augmented by her Storm Power ability she cast within the next round is automatically affected by Empower Spell feat without an increase in casting time or spell level. Once she use this ability she must wait 5 rounds before using it again.

At 6th level the Stormcaller may instead modify the spell as per Maximize Spell.

At 9th level the Stormcaller combine both the Empower Spell and Maximize Spell feats when using Channel the Storm.

Wind Barrier (Su): A 4th level Stormcaller can summon a barrier of air to protect herself as a swift action, granting her a +4 shield bonus to AC. While her barrier is active she gain DR 10/- against non-siege ranged attacks. The stormcaller may use her wind barrier for a number of hours equal to her class level per day, uses need not to be consecutive but is used in increment of hours.

Stormbolt (Su): A 5th level Stormcaller can infuse the power of the storm in her electricity spells. As a swift action, the next spell she cast that deals electricity damage also deals an extra 1 point of sonic damage per spell level, and force a Fortitude save or cause any damage creature to be stunned for 1 round. The DC equals the save DC of the spell, even if the spell wouldn't normally allow a save. Once a creature is stunned by this ability it cannot be stunned again by it for 24 hours.

Storm Aura (Su): A 7th level a Stormcaller is surrounded by constant wind and storm. Within 60 feet of her she can summon rain and wind, acting as a emanation, whenever she activate her aura she may have it be smaller than normal. The wind condition in her aura is one step more severe than normal and it count as a storm whenever it is advantageous. She may activate and suppress this ability as a free action.

Tempest Caller (Sp): A 8th level Stormcaller can tap into her powers and summon a great storm, she can use control weather once per day but can only create a windstorm, thunderstorm, or hurricane-force winds, at her option she may add hail or rain. She may use a 7th level spell to spontaneously cast control weather with the same restriction as above. Additionally when casting control weather she count as a druid of her caster level when casting it through this ability.

Sovereign of the Storm (Ex): A 10th level, the Stormcaller embrace the power of the storm and become immune to electricity and is unaffected by wind effect unless she desires it.
