It turns out the entire house of the evil warlock used to be people. You sundered his front door, the shopkeeper's wife, you sick monsters!

Object Hardness/Object Material/Polymorph Effect/Petrification[edit]

You should probably make mention that the transformed creature gains the hardness and hp per thickness of the object it is transformed into. You should also make mention if any costly materials are forbidden, such as turning an elephant into a huge block of diamond. Also, you should mention if creatures that are immune to polymorphing are immune to this (or if shapechangers can just change back) as well as any special bonus or immunity granted to creatures with resistances to petrification (since you could conceivably turn a creature into a statue of itself as a loophole). Lastly, I made some clarity edits to fix some grammar. --Ganteka Future (talk) 23:58, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Good catch, thanks Gan.--Leziad (talk) 00:21, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Additionally shapechangers not being able to turn back in intended. --Leziad (talk) 00:26, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Power Level[edit]

On thought, I wonder if this is too much. While yeah, comparing to WotC stuff isn't entirely a good idea, it's way way stronger than its closest rival, Baleful Polymorph. With the latter, they can still move and have a chance to keep their minds. This is straight up save or die, which I tend to be a bit careful giving to warlocks due to the at will nature of their abilities, usually keeping me either to save or lose, or exceptions, escapes, etc.

A side note, you get bestow sentience, which seems to be a standard action at will with no components. You could awaken the whole world given time. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 06:02, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
