It's not bad in concept, but the mechanics are poor. As it's written, it entirely wipes out any question of whether or not to power attack, and if so, how much - because past level 4 or so, you will always power attack, for the greatest value possible, seeing as it will do more damage to power attack and *miss* than if you had hit without using it. The mechanics really need to be re-thought here.


I think you are grossly underestimating the amount of damage you're giving up if you completely whiff, as well as how much damage you lose from missing with a magical weapon. --Ghostwheel (talk) 07:58, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
