Early levels of this PrC are pretty solid for cold-based necromancers. It does drag on for a while though, getting your last good ability there at level 5. Then the last 5 levels are basically what you spend becoming a Frostlich. Looking at the template, I'm not sure it's really out of line for a level 12 or 14 character to actually be one. The sample Monster Manual lich is level 11, which would put them at CR 13. You could require burning a lot of gold or whatnot in the phylactery creation here to try to make up for some CR. Prior art: Walker in the Wastes lets you hit Dry Lich (which has CR+3!) at level 13. [[User:Surgo|Surgo]] ([[User talk:Surgo|talk]]) 04:29, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Could this be 5 or 7 levels?

Early levels of this PrC are pretty solid for cold-based necromancers like uttercold blasters. Surgo (talk) 04:29, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
