Penalties do not come anywhere close to outweighing the benefits.

Plus, glasses don't even work that way. Things always get in your eyes, especially when wearing glasses.

DC doesn't scale with HD. --Ghostwheel (talk) 13:14, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

Intentional. Glasses don't get slipperier when you level up. Instead, it scales with opponents Str/Dex. It's not a huge DC (again intentional), but if you get bull rushed by Thor, they might very well fly off. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 13:27, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Should with the HD of the person jostling you. Or at least their BAB. Or something else. Omitting that makes the DC wonky. --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:11, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
That would have been the case originally, but turns out several maneuvers use different mechanics. Some are just straight Strength checks, others are DCs, and some are attack rolls. The latter especially you'd never make with your Reflex. So I made it all one thing. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 20:44, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Also amusing counterpoint, regardless if set to HD or BAB, you can watch as Chrons the Glasses Wearing Titan has his glasses knocked away by Squiggles, the Warrior 20 Fine sized Spider with Str 1. The other counterpoint is anecdotal, but as someone who has glasses, I can say that it's kept many a thing out of my eyes that otherwise would have gone in. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 18:12, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
