View source for Talk:Hunting Rifle (3.5e Equipment)

Seems a bit too powerful at low levels, when characters are only making a single attack anyhow. :As a gun, the power is intended though I suppose the high dice is redundant.  The idea I had was the hunter taking aim and one-shotting a deer or something reliably.  Since by default there isn't any Dex to damage or the like I thought of the "max damage" thing as an inbuilt weapon buff.  I did debate if it should be a standard or a move action though, I might make it standard after all.  It'll be like a weaker true strike.
