May I ask what makes this unquantifiable? The Dire Reverend 06:01, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

the fact it's based on an unquantifiable ability in the first place. People could either pick sucky spells or really awesome spells, and it really depends each time the ability is used. Of course, it could be monk level since it is basically a feat that allows you to keep your abilities while growing in character plot. --Havvy 06:33, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
On that note, do you think that this feat is too little to be something a player would choose? I mean, not needing to go to some arcane order meeting once every couple of months and paying them a small gold fee is not worth a feat. What do you think I should add to make this a more useful feat? Maybe an increase in one of the Mage of the Arcane Order's Special abilities, "because he is no longer limited by the Arcane Order's silly limitations" or something like that. I don't have the book, but yeah, this needs a non-rp benefit before most would take it. Currently it's like the +2 to diplomacy checks in region X feats in Forgotten Realms. --Havvy 23:03, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Changed it up a bit, and now you take this feat before taking the level in MotAO. It replaces half of the feat requirements (Which was Cooperative Spell and one other metamagic feat) to join the class. The whole "Work together" spell Idea worked for the Arcane Order, but for an independent mage, I found it unfitting. No class abilities stemmed from the feat, it was just a filler requirement. In fact, Independent Mage of the Arcane Order, as it is now, is less useful than Cooperative Spell. The Dire Reverend 11:18, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
